This is the third volume of the Diné Bikéyah series. The format is different from the first two volumes. This one contains 12 photographs in 19″ x 13″ size and a custom bound copy of Navajo Trading Days by Elizabeth Compton Hegemann, 1963. While published in 1963, it describes her trading days with the Navajo in early part of the 20th century. Photographs used in the book were taken between 1916 and 1936. The book provides a sensitive understanding of the Diné.

This volume limited to 12 copies plus two artist’s proofs which are donated to the Navajo Nation.
